Where It All Began...

Before AusWild, there was TasWild.

What began as a small passion project in Tasmania quickly became something much bigger — a way to turn creativity, storytelling, and community support into practical help for Australian wildlife.

TasWild wasn’t built in a boardroom. It was built through late-night feeds, rescue calls, wildlife in care, market stalls, muddy boots, heartbreak, and hope.

It grew from a deep frustration with how disconnected people had become from the reality facing our native animals — and a desire to create something tangible that allowed everyday Australians to genuinely help.

Every product sold helped support wildlife rehabilitation efforts, while also opening conversations about conservation, rescue, and the incredible personalities hidden within Australia’s wildlife.

Why AusWild Exists

Every year across Australia, thousands of native animals are orphaned, injured, displaced, or left behind.

Much of their survival depends on everyday people — volunteers, wildlife rehabilitators, rescuers, veterinarians, and communities who quietly dedicate their lives to giving these animals a second chance.

But many people never see that side of wildlife care.

AusWild was created to help bridge that gap.

Not through guilt or performative activism — but through connection.

Through honest storytelling. Through community. Through products that help fund awareness, rehabilitation, future sanctuary projects, and long-term impact.

Because when people feel emotionally connected to wildlife, they begin to care differently.

What Drives Us...

Connection

Helping people reconnect
with Australia's wildlife in a
meaningful and emotional way.

Awareness

Sharing real rescue stories and rehabilitation realities that
often go unseen.

Action

Turning community support
into tangible impact for wildlife
and future sanctuary projects.

The bigger vision...

AusWild is still at the beginning.

The long-term vision is to create a space where wildlife rehabilitation, education, storytelling, and community come together — starting with a future sanctuary project in Queensland.

A place where people can witness the reality of wildlife care firsthand.

A place where orphaned wildlife are given a second chance.

A place that inspires awareness, practical action, and a deeper respect for the wild spaces and creatures we share this country with.

But more than anything, AusWild is about building a movement.

One grounded in heart, connection, and the belief that small actions, multiplied by enough people, can create real change.
