What To Do If You Find Injured Wildlife in Bundaberg & Wide Bay
Found injured wildlife in Bundaberg, Bargara, Coral Cove, Burnett Heads, Childers, Gin Gin, Hervey Bay or the wider Wide Bay region?Early first aid and fast advice can save lives.
Immediate First Steps
• Keep the animal warm, dark and quiet
• Do not offer food or water unless advised
• If safe to do so, place the animal in a ventilated box lined with a towel
• Keep pets, children and noise away
• Send a clear photo, exact location or dropped pin, and details of the situation
